Well, the potter angel attempt last a few weeks :( She was doing so well too... I still don't know what did her in. Yesterday I noticed her pectoral fins had gone from bright yellow the day before to transparent and covered in white spots... didn't look like marine ich / crypt from the pics I've looked at, not sure what it was... and her body was clean....whatrver it was that did her in I'll probably never know... damn wild caught fish.

The clowns are looked better today... after a cold weekend with no flow in their tank they got a really weird white mold/slime coating on the heads and back, it's all but gone today... a slight trace of it at most on the male.

One chromis also died, but I suspect it was fom taking a trip to the sidewalk when I accidently siphoned him out of the tank a few days ago... he lost a lot of scales and never eally did look good after that, and as the smallest he didn't ever get enough to eat. :(

I have a trip planned for the middle to end of next month, so as much as I would love to do a full medicated QT tank, I'm not sure I can right now. I can treat for about 2 weeks, then keep them out of the DT for a couple weeks, then treat again... but would that be effective? I'll have someone watching the fish, I just can't imagine he'd do the daily WC's and medication for me... maybe I could bribe him.

ugh this sucks. I'm in the middle of a very stressful move right now and barely have time to maintain my tank at work, let alone deal with sick fish... poop.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Some fish are just a test of your patience.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your angel. Keep us posted on the clowns and other livestock, I try to keep up with posts where people move so I can see what to expect or what to keep an eye out for.
I am getting ready to move and I am more stressed about moving the tank than anything else. I hope it goes without a hitch or at least fairly smooth.

I will maybe try a potter again some day. I'm going to give it a few months before i add anything major tho. The clowns are still "iffy". I'll probably replace the chromis I lost. He was so small the others bullied him relentlessly.
