Return Pump question

    Looking at the flow rates (had to convert to UK litres per hour) just to send water through your sump and allow water to be processed IMO a mag 12 would be fine.

    cool mag 12 it is! u think a mag 9.5 would be to little? i only need the flow to keep up with whats being drained....dont need it for flow as i have great power heads

    A mag 9.5 would probably suffice, at a head height of 6ft and taking into cosideration bends in the pipe work you should achieve a flow rate of around 350 - 450 gph. This is approx what I run using a new-jet 3000 pump with a head height of about 4.5ft.
