return pump question

    for the pump what is the head pressure lose usally?

    i love how ppl gave me an aswer but this question. lfs gave me a different GPH then a previvies post like 3 or 5X times. it could be rite but this lfs i believe nore then the others ive been too. he told me its 10X doe to the length of getting to the point. but if hes wrong ill have valves to help me slow the rate. i just cant get ready for my sump :) .

    If you go back to may previous post #6 you will see 3 to 5x the display volume after head loss. That may very well be 10x the display volume for the maximum the pump can do but you need to calculate the head losses so you know what it will be at the display or discharge point. Thats the final number. Add up the total feet of head then find a pump that will do about 5x the display volume at that head loss.
