    I think that it would be worth it to just get a new tank instead of buying more corals and fish. JMO

    dude i think my anemone is dying. i have a condy.the tenticles are not as vibrant and like 5 of them are very light see-through brown. can i get a sebae at the store. its as small as its going to get. meaning its not old at all. can i get it considering my circumstances? its beautful and i really want it. and is my anemone dead? or dying? when should i take it out? please get back to me asap.

    The things to check for is if it loses its hold on the rocks, and if it turns slimy and stops griping with its tentacles. If that happens get it out. Start running carbon in your filter ASAP. If it had died in there you would already know, because other things would be dead as well.

    Condy's can take a hit and keep going......

    does your condy have a red foot or pure white?

    If the condy is sticky, they are good. If they get slimy, then you should move it out.
    The smell is the other thing you can test, if it smells like your water then your safe.. if it smells like a fish that has been cooking in the sun for a day, then it's time to clear ur tank...

    things i learned, just passing them ur way. :)

    oh i didnt see that you have that dottyback. I think that you might encounter some problems with that neon dottyback as it matures. Considering the size of your tank i think your clownfish may not be safe in the future.

    the anemone has now lost all stick and is stiff as a rock. should i remove it?
