    just curious is there any programs set up that you can donate corals to be put back in the ocean?

    garf.org has donated corals for reefs that died off.they would know where to direct you.

    They won't accept coral donations due to possible cross-contamination (possible disease or even a different clade of zooxanthellae) but you can volunteer to frag for them or donate money to pay their fraggers.

    The video on that website shows how divers go down, grab a coral and swim it up to a raft. Then they frag that coral and then the divers go back down and glue all of the frags to the reefballs.

    oh thats cool! ^^, but they should have like a place or something in tropical climates, and have a bunch of corals from peoples tanks, that coral wouldnt grow or something, idk jsut a thought lol.
