How do I get the coralline off the back of a tank that I just bought? I have tried using a razor blade and scraper and it hasnt even touched the stuff!

The razor blade works everytime for me..Or you can get a tuxedo urchin and he will eat it. I have one, he eats it.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
How big is the tank? If you can let is soak in a solution of diluted vineger a couple hours. Works wonders for me.

A flat razor blade held at an approx 45* angle to the glass and pressed firmly will take it right off.
