Well I got some Ca precipitation from adding calcium additive, and now there's a bunch of particles in the water column. Any ways to remove these small particles?

Are you sure its a Ca precipitate, if so moniter your levels closely. A Ca precipitation can cause kH to drop in turn causing pH to drop and if real bad an entire tank crash. What supplement are you using and what are the current levels for the big 4?

That's the only thing I can guess (for sure there not microbubbles) I have another thread in which I stated my water param issues, but here they are

Ca: 425ppm (Red Sea and Salifert test kit used)
    Alk: 16dkh (API test kit)
    Ph: Around 8.0
    Mg: Around 1300ppm

I think my alk got a little to high because I had the ca reactor adding too much effluent (so throttled back the effluent to 1 drop every 8-10 seconds)

Sometimes I will notice a small particulate when I add my buffer but I wouldn't really classify it as a real Ca precipitate... How long as it been going on? Just when you added the supplement or is it on going?
Looking at the levels they are not pointing towards a precipitation to occur although the alk is a little high.....

I used Brightwell Aquatics Calcion about a week ago! Im not sure if its a real precipate, but they look like small white particles. The particles appeared after I added the additive and are still present.

Usually for Ca to precipitate you need much higher Ca levels, yours are normal, maybe even slightly low.

Im just kinda thinking out loud here, but it could be because your dkh is so high, your Ca, dkh and Mg levels are out of proportion. I had a similar problem happen before and I believe it was due to the dkh rapidly rising to a higher point then before w/o the Ca being in proportion

Did you notice a drop in any of the levels? I mean did you test prior to noticing the particulates? The Ca is on PAR and the Mg is high enough to prevent a full blow fall out, at least with your current levels. W/O going into a chemistry class or taking this too off topic Mg essentially "covers" CaCO3 as it starts to fall out of solution preventing further Ca and CO3 to bind to it. This is partly how seawater can stay at a supersaterated solution indefinetly. If you have very low Mg you are more likely to have a fall out or if the alk and Ca are so high that you are well beyond supersaturation.
As far as your particulate, do you have any form of mechanical filtration?
Even a simple small micron filter sock should help!

    Happy reefing!

Haha, I noticed an increase. When I dosed the calcium supplement, I expected to raise my Ca and lower my alk. The levels before dosing were, Ca:375, Alk:13dkh, Mg: 1300ppm (im going to test it again right now). After I dosed the levels were, Ca:420, Alk:13dkh.

Like I mentioned in my other thread about my water issues, I think the high alk is due to the Ca reactor. I had it running for about a week at the recommended starting setting without monitoring the effluent levels (I did not have some of the test kits).

Well here are some pictures of the particles I am talking about. These pictures are taken with the pump shut off. The only reason I think they are ca prep is because they appeared after I added the additive.
