Regal Tang anouther Ick Post >.<

It's very common for the blue hippo, or regal tang to get bouts of ich, especially when they are young. What I have found with mine is that meaty foods really set it off. Sometimes it doesn't take meaty foods, just the normal flake or pellets will be fed for a few weeks and BAM some more ich. THe best treatment that I have found is broccoli. Get some fresh broccoli, rinse it off, put it on a clip and you can leave it for a couple days. At first the fish probably won't pick at it, but just give it some time - it took my blue hippo 2 days to start eating it. She loves it now!
