I am thinking about adding some scallops, a few feather dusters, a few mangroves and maybe a small amount of cheato for pods. My goal is to use filter feeding organisms more than macro algaes. Can anyone suggest some other filter feeders that would be good for my fuge.

This will be a very low light fuge. I have 3 clams in my DT as well as xenia.

Basically, little neck clams. I've seen some that are swarmed with flatworms and therefore don't want them in my tank even after being in a QT for a while.

I have a huge clam in my fuge. Don't know what species but it's the type you'd fry up or make chowder out of. It's about the size of my fist.

you can put a lot of things in there! cucumbers, starfish, crabs, shrimp, hermits, snails, conchs, macro algae, mangroves, urchins, and certain types of little burrowing fish (given its a big enough fuge)

Should you put anything in there to stir the sand?

But will all those help my water quality. I have cheato and some feather dusters in it now. I am hoping to just be able to run a low light fuge that works.
