    anyone use the Sybon Salinity refractometer? are they good? I have found one used but in new condition calibrated and working for $30cnd is this a good deal?

    Not sure what the exchange rate is these days but US $30-35 is pretty common.

    well the original price is $60 and it looks to be in great shape I just have to check it out in person

    I bought mine on eBay for $27 new. I see yours has auto temp compensation. That's a good thing. You might check around for a better price on a new unit.
