I know it's probably been asked before but I couldn't find the thread, I am thinking of getting two value fixtures for my 75 gallon reef. I like the dawn dusk effects before and agrees a light fixture gos on and off. From people who have them do you use the blues only for your dawn and dusk. Also, how's the growth under them, I use t5 and metal halide currently and have great growth! I just want less heat exchange and less power usage, ideally I would like the programmable fixtures but can't afford that at the moment.

Great lights, I have 1 on half my tank and a rapidled system on the other half. I run my colors around 70% and whites around 40% or so. But without the programmable ones, you won't have dawn/dusk effect unless you manually do it.

AS far as growth, my clams and LPS are growing great. I've never had anything but led's so I can't compare for you.

But for the price they are great;)
