Hi I was just wondering if I purchase one of the new fixtures for my 90 gallon currently has no coral, will that be enough light to keep my going till I save up the dollars for another fixture? I know having two fixtures will be a must especially since I plan on keeping sps eventually, but can my tank survive for a month or two on just one fixture?

I do it with 1 of the 120w value fixtures over my 75. I have a candy cane that is doing great under the 1 light! Also an encrusting monti that was doing amazing till i gave it to my friend.

That is an old pic, and the dead stuff was killed by my friend, then he moved it to my tank under my t5 that was junk so that didnt help. But that is with the led light on. Looks much better.

I have one of the 120w value fixtures over my 65 mounted dead center, but with the 120deg optics, the center brace is not an issue at all concerning blockage or coverage.
