    Hello,
I've got this aquarium running. There is no nitrate and I"m using reef crystals. In there is:

    arrow crab
    coral branded shrimp
    sea apple
    toby puffer
    firefish
    clownfish
    2 damsel fish
    starry blenny
    turbo snails, hermit crabs etc

there is a 65G coral life skimmer, 15 gallon sump, and 30 gallon tank, with carbon filtration in the sump

I have T5 lighting with a blue bulb, white bulb, and 2 LED lights that I had on another tank, the coverage isn't perfect for them, and they each are 4watts of moonlight and white LEDs.

is this lighting okay for corals, like a torch coral, or do I need more LEDs? If so, I was looking at the stunner LEDs ( Stunner LED Strips - 6watt, 12in. ) . The fish store mentioned I could point something in the existing lighting fixture? What do you recommend for lighting?

I'm also not sure if I should feed the sea apple plankton, but it's producing waste so I think it's okay.

    Thanks

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Welcome to 3reef. :)

All though I can not comment on the lighting.

The Sea Apple is a filter feeder and probably needs some supplemental feedings.

A fine slurry of quality flake or pellet and ground up mysid or other meaty sea foods would probably be in order. The particles have to be really small and only a little is needed.

sea apple can release toxic if they are stressed or dead which may cause fish or corals to die..
