Hey all. A friend of mine just stopped by to bring some red sea stars and sea urchins for me. The sea urchins are mainly for food for my Triggers. But I wanted to know if my zoanthids and/or SPS are in any danger of the introduction of the stars and the urchins.

Nope the triggers are in separate tanks. I have held an undulate in the same tank with zoa's, SPS and Feather dusters without any problems before. But this is a new set of livestock in QT.
I have the urchins and stars in QT with the zoa's and SPS all together so that's why I was wondering if they would pose a threat to the corals. Would they?

Kewl... Thanks... I did a little more research on em and I realized that they were reef safe. They look really nice in there... But I think it's too much stars... I have 13 of em in there. and about 8 urchins

That wouldn't be a problem at all. Here in Trinidad we have loads of em in our waters. Not even on a reef. Very close to the shore lines;)

Well, I wouldn't completely say that it's a species tank. It's just temporary.;)
