    Hello all:

    Does anyone have any experience or feedback on Red Sea Max S system?

    No idea. But I think they look bloody sweet!!!.

    The only thing I might have a problem with is what do you do if something fails inside the back area? and you may not have as much customisation as you would like with a true sump style tank.

    Yep. I am also worry about that. But like you said, it looks VERY cool. So this is why I want to see if any one of you have experience with this before I jump in.

    I have a few friends with this system and also a friend who owns a fish store with one. Ill have mine in a month, I purchased the 175 gallon. The tank in the fish store has been up for about a year with no issues at all. Everything on the tank is replaceable as far as any of the filtration. Its a great system with quality parts and build. I say go for it. Even the glass is really thick and about as clear as acrylic. I ordered mine in the merlot metallic. Hope this helps.

    I don't have the S but I am using the RSM 250 as a pred tank. Been running for 3 months with no issue. All the components are in the back of the tank but all are accessible.
    Here is a forum I found with only red sea max owners. Plenty of S owners on there :)
