Red looking thing on LR

I got another one for you guys. I was admiring my hard work and just happened to look real close at this on spot on my LR not to sure what it in its a red color. Its the thing lodged in between the little rock in the hole.

 

anybody?

 

I have looked at it but I can not make out the picture.

the two 'arms' almost make it look like a brittle star

Edit: never mind its coming out of the hole.

 

I'm thinking its some sort of sponge because my trigger found another that was sitting in another area and decided to eat it but I could be wrong.
