yeah the pump is hooked to my aquacontorller ocillating at 175min OFF/ 5min ON seems to work great and I go through on average 2 gallons/day. Even if the pump is running it would have to dose nearly 1 gallon to get kalk powder in the tank. If the pump is off I can dose more than 2 gallons. Either eay it's not much of an issue since the Tunze doses 1 cup of water at a time.

Cool. Sounds nice. Also sounds like you have a much bigger tank than mine. :) Thanks for info.

I hear ya on the 2g per day. That is tougher with the gravity fed. That's one reason why I went to the reeftek originally actually. It's the same idea as the PM/GEO. On my 75g, I was loosing over a gallon a day to evaporation. It did work well in that regard, as it didn't matter what the reservoir size was. For a while, I just used a small brute trashcan on the 75. Then I moved it to my 29 and just went back to a 5g bucket, so it was pretty flexible. That was a plus for sure.

On my 93, I'm loosing almost 2.5g per day, and this is in winter, I don't even have fans going for evaporation cooling yet . If I go to gravity fed, I was thinking maybe two aquadosers, but may really need like 3 LOL. I guess may still have a diy project after all...

Yeah, I guess I should have mentioned that I use it with a Tunze ATO which also has a low flow pump - 13gph I think.
It only runs 10 seconds or so when the sump level evaporates enough for the ATO to kick on.
