If it's the thing sticking out to the left, with the segmented appearance, I'd almost say it's a starfish arm. I've got them all over the place and they are very common. Your photo is kind of lacking if you know what I mean, (and my computer sucks for looking at vids) so I'm going with a star here.

Yeah I had to take a frame from the video to get the pic. All I had handy was the phone so I couldn't get a good pic. I thought it might be a star fish but wasn't sure. It had two arms sticking out waving around

I'll edit this post later, but I found a large one crawling on my glass one evening. Thanks to another avid reefer, I was compelled to turn my lights on and start snapping pics. Funny thing was, this star was Very lop-sided, and from then on I assume that the legs protruding from their hiding spots tend to grow a bit longer so as to grab more food (and the fact that those legs get more exercise than the others).

So either the first theory is correct, or I've got some really, really, inbred starfish. You decide.

its not a starfish. I have them too, they are a type of worm that sorta filter feeds like its fishing. I stretches out that sticky tentacle then jerks it back into its hole.

Yeah that's what it was in your pic. Same color and everything. So are they harmless

More likely it split to reproduce and the short ones are growing back.

Mini brittle stars don't get large enough to eat fish. Well, maybe fry LOL.
