    Hey Everybody,
    My name is Jim. Ive had a freshwater in the past. I'm looking to set up a 55-100 saltwate reef tank. I have no idea what type of tank to buy or what supplies are neccesary (i.e what filter,lights or anything else i would need) any help would be great. I have a hookup supposedly for stuff but i dont know what to ask for.

    Welcome-- I would decide first on the tank size as that will drive much of your need. Once you have the tank size then you can decide on a skimmer, lighting, filtration, heaters, etc. I built my tank off of the advice of many people.. great start do your research and ask many questions.

    im getting a 54 corner bow front with overflow. what type of skimmer, filter, heater and lights should i get? and does it matter what type of live rock and sand i get.. anything else i need. I have sosmeone to help me set it up but i have a connect for good prices. I just need to tell him what i need and he can give the price straight from the manufacturer.
