    LOL. I never win because I'm too reserved most times. This time I really wanted at least one acro and a torch. So I bid on a whole bunch of them and made the max what I'd pay at my LFS. As the auctions came down to the final minute I was still winning 10 or 11, I was pretty panic'd. 50-100 bucks I can explain off pretty well to the wife. 300-400..now that wouldn't have been a good deal at all. LOL

    have you used the line "oh that, I have had that one for ages"

    they feign interest, so if you use that one carefully, they feel guilty for not paying enough attention and wander off. you can then dry your arm and get rid of the empty polybag LOL

    LOL I know! It's bad when you yell out "DON'T WRITE ON THE BAG!!" as the LFS employee grabs a sharpie to jot down the price of the item in the bag on the outside of it so your spouse won't see what you paid for it. To date all of my cash purchases have been "$20" LOL
