It may just be expelling water.

How long has the 90 been set up? transfering stuff from a cycled tank will speed up the process hugely but you may still be having some fluctuations that come and go.

T5's are more then enough to sustain an anemone.

alright well the tank was used so the tank itself probably went through a mini cycle when I transferred the stuff but I had the 90 gallon set up with lr and powerheads on only for about a month b4 I transferred. today, it started uh...barfing it seems...stuff that looks like brown jelly disease. I just got my lighting/gfo/carbon in today and set everything up. Oh yeah and it started having stuff come out after I put the lights in.

Is there any risk to having a dying anemone in the tank? Because if thats the case, i'd rather take it out before it kills my whole tank, since ive read that anemones can "nuke" a tank.

Edit: oh and the lights are 250 watt maristar hqi.

Not in a tank that size, I have them die before and stuff was ok. of course this is no suggestion to leave it in if its obviously dead and let it dissolve.

I think its probably excreting zooanthellae from the large increase in lighting.
