    This is a common misconception... Darker doesn't mean better. There is no evidence or study that shows pulling a darker skim is better than skimming wet. You just have to empty the cup more often with a lighter skim. But with a lighter skim it stays more efficient due to the neck not building up as much..

    6 to 1 half dozen to the other...

    wonderful... it does make me watch my water level a lot more carefully, since I couldn't make it work in the first chamber.
