I have been keeping an eye on my cal, mag, alk...They've always been low but I didn't have much for livestock so didn't care too much. Everything else is in order other than nitrates at 10. Oh PH stays about 8.0.

    So cal is 380
    dkh is 8
    mag is 1100

How do I start raising these safely and in proper order? I just did a 25% water change and they didn't go up or down. Thanks!

One great place to start is the calculator that we have here.
I wouldn't recommend raising Ca more than 50ppm per day, Mg 100ppm per day and alk maybe 2 dkH.
Your alk, can stay where it is or slightly raise, take Ca up maybe 50 points and Mg about 200-300 or so.

I take it you use Instant Ocean?

Ok so it says I basically need 3 pounds of epsom salt. Im gonna add it slowly, but is there a ratio of how much R/O water I should mix it in? I have a 5 gallon jug, is this enough for 1400 grams of salt?
