Summer time is here, even with the AC going at 72, my tank is still heating up and turning on my cooling fans every few minutes. Not really a problem except that they are loud and obnoxious. So do any of you know of any good computer style cooling fans that you use which are not too noisy. My tank is in the living room so a chiller is out and so are noisy fans.

    Thanks

I'm considering popping in some new fans in my light hood as well, since they're getting pretty noisy. These are looking good to me, quiet and move a good amount of air:

I have people remark how quiet my Vantec Stealths are all the time, I hear the SilenX is good too but have no experience with them.
Look for lower RPMs and medium air flows, the 120mm Stealths are 1500 RPM, 53 CFM and only 28 dBa sound. They don't have to create a tornado to work, in fact higher velocities can be detrimental as they create heat from friction.

+1 on the Vantec Stealths. I used them in my computer build (for my room) because they're so quiet.
