    Parents are in Florida and just got a text from mom asking if I could put seashells in aquarium. I don't know. I'm sure if I could I would have to do something to them first so I figured I would ask you guys. Thanks! Hope this is right forum

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    If they are from the shore I would boil them first. If they are from a hobby store or tourist store then I would want to know if they have a glaze or finish on them.

    Thanks....they are from the shore. I assumed boiling, just wanted to make sure but I will double check to MAKE SURE they didn't pick up from a tourist place...as far as the avatar, that is an Eastern Screech Owl from the raptor rehab I volunteer at. His name is Herkimer. Make no mistake, hes small, but he will still rip your face off if given the chance lol
