Hey stephen thanks alot! I noticed you are from virginia beach?? I was born in norfolk and grew up in my young childhood years there. I go back home every year and to the beach every 4th of july!! My dad and his family all reside in the chesapeake area!!! The saltwater tank reminds me alot of home with the beaches, aqauriums, and the bright colors of the fish and corals remind me of sunny days on the strip!

Can you resize the pic on your computer? I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager and then resize the image.

If you're having issues with the image file size, then use this: Phototools. It's one of the 3reef tools, you can change the file size to meet the upload reqs.

Tank looks great! Just a couple suggestions. You will want more rock in there. The general rule of thumb is 1 - 1.5 lbs of rock per gallon of water. And that way you can create an aquascape that creates lots of caves and tunnels, etc. for the fish. Fish love to be able to swim through the rocks and have hiding places.

Agreed, the more rock the better. Check out John at reefcleaners.org. He has amazing base rock that will go perfectly. Just tell him what size pieces and how many pounds and he'll set you up nicely. Plus, more rock space gives you more room for corals later on, if that's something you want to do.

Epoxy putty works great. You know the kind that comes as two different colors that you have to knead together.
