    should i put a cube of zoo plankton in shortly after the addition of my gsp?

    GSP really don't need supplemental feedings- they grow fast without. But it won't hurt.

    Not quite sure what it is you are trying to achieve. They are photosynthetic eaters mainly.

    yeah you probably are only wasting it if you just "put it in" if you want to target feed but I don't think you need to

    well i was target feeding my frogspawn, and i remember when i first got my fish i wasnt supposed to feed them the first day. The cubes i just bought today, you just plop in the water and it dissolves, so i wasnt sure if it mattered that my gsp gets some of that. I knew they were photsynthetic but does that mean that they wont take to the zoo plankton in the water?

    I really wouldn't worry about feeding the GSP and I also would use a target feeder (turkey baster) when feeding other coral it is much more productive than just dropping it in.

    ok good to know..that seemed like it would leave a lot of waste in my tank too...thanks everybody
