question for reef cleaners (John) or anybody else on macro

I just put in a request for an estimate on a custom clean up crew for the tank that I am starting back up.
I have a question on what might be a good macro that would look cool in your main display. I know I want some halimeda (money-tree) but am looking for some other colorful things. I dont want any calupra of any kind, but other then that I am not sure.

 

I really like flame algae. I think the red color is really pretty and striking. I also really like mermaid's shot glass. I have some in my tank, and it's really pretty. Both are on reefcleaners.org.

Scroll algae is nice too, though it's just brown/tan in color.

 

i would recommend getting a calcareous kind... otherwise it will be eaten by something

Lol I did caulerpa and chaeto and it was gone the next day... Tangs sure had a nice breakfast

 

Fire Fern is a calcified algae. Looks a lot like Flame algae. Also might like the Mermaid's Fan or the Pencil Cap and both are also calcified algae.
