question about return

    ohhhhh i think yourright . damn , we just finished doing the gurglebuster for the 1" pvc.


    so let me see if i ubderstand this . yout saying that its okay to hav a bigger drain pipr than the return because the amount of water going in your drain depends on your return. so if my returb can only handle 600gph, then my drain will be 600gph, although its capability is much more . is this correct ? is this what you were trying to say?

    Yes.... You WANT your drain to have more capability than your return. First, because you don't want it to overflow and second because the return is assisted by the pump and the drain is not....

    I'm with the fellas. Use the 1.25 as the overflow and the 1 as return. On my 225 build my overflow is 1 in and my return is a 1/2. Yes it is crazy I know.
