I am not sure why my posts or "replies" in my thread are not showing under "new posts". How can I update my thread and have it showing under that category???

My understanding is that 'new posts' do not include posts that you just made, but shows posts by others. There was some discussion about this in the bug thread that is linked in my sig.

But I see threads that were posted a long time ago and show the new posts. How come?

I never thought it was a bug. I always thought "new posts" only showed unread posts. So when you post, you read it and it does not show. If that could change that would be cool with me. I just thought that was the way it worked.

Thanks you guys for your response.... still not sure whether I understand but as long as my posts show to others, that's the main thing... :)

just proving this one did - I saw it front and centre

on the action panel over on the right ------------------------------- yep over there

you can click on - show my posts and get a list of all the posts you have contributed recently

you can also click on - show new posts and get a list of all new announcements and a list of any threads that have had new posts since you where last on

you can also use thread tools and add a thread to your favourite lists - then visit your own home page, scroll down and find all your favourite threads where you can see at a glance who the latest poster was, if its not you, that means someone or some people have posted on your thread since last time you did

I believe "Show Today's" link in action panel (Get Daily on the homepage) will also give you a different look. FYI

In addition to what Steve said, you can hit 'Thread Tools' above first post and use 'Subscribe to Thread' and then use 'View Subscriptions' link on right nav/Action Panel to see subscription updates in real time - with less clicks.
