    I am just in my 3rd week of cycling my tank and have recently bought a 35 watt 50/50 reef bulb. I know it won't grow corals but after my tank has cycled can I get a few with this bulb?

    no you have less then one watt per gallon,
    you may be able to grow some chaetomorpha directly under the bulb.
