    can't give you odds, but in over 9 years, I have never qt'd snails or heard of anyone doing so...

    All righty then. Into the tank they will go after a nice slow acclimation. I am still gonna run water from my dt over them. I hate ich.

    Not sure running or swishing tank water over them would get rid of ich, but it might get rid of other hitchhikers. My first snails in this tank, I ended up with one flatworm (the harmless kind, but got flushed anyway) and a pyramellid snail. I swished them in the bag first, but they still got by me LOL.
