Purple tip sebae anemone

ok i have a purple tip sebae anemone and i put it in my tank and my clown fish LOVE it... but it has a white base like thing? and with my clown fish going in and out of it it happens to turn on its side? (i think) is this normal if not what am i suppose to do to stop it from falling over?

Hey David, Try placing a rock underneath it and see if that helps.

 

So what exactly is it doing? Releasing it's foot?
Can you post a pic of it? Or is that it in your avatar?
How old is the tank, what size, what lighting, and what are your Temp, PH, ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, Ph, dKH, ca, mg, and PO4 levels? How is the water movement?

Well, looking at that picture, the anemone is pretty darned bleached, which means it's not in very good health. What about the other info?

 

idk how to check the chemicals cuz this is my first salt water tank... but i had my buddy down the street that has a nice 75g tank check all my chemical lvls and he said thier perfect... mines only a 10g tho...

 

I'm curious as to what type of lighting you have in there?

 

its a normal 10gal aquarium light with some special bulb i bought off my friend... idk what kind tho...

 

Dude find out what lighting you have and check back with us, it sounds like you dont have the right lighting
