if they arent use to the clip, it could take a bit before they go for it. but once they do ,its gone. lol, you can try broccolli, zucchini or romaine lettice. they will need to be blanched tho 1st.

my kole developed some ich a week ago, today its clear of it.

One thing I also have noticed is keeping the lighting down, When a tang of mine has ick, I just turn on the actinics for the day instead of them and the daylights. Helps with the fishes stress level. Along with that I run them 2-4 hours shorter then usual. Seems to work well. Soaking the food In garlic and vitamins helps as well to get them to eat and gain a little more nutrients to their meal.

Its to cook it almost, but not fully... I guess per say. It softens the lettuce and what not a bit and makes it easier for the fish to digest? Kind of like steaming something. Id assume.

Never done this before Id wait for another one to chime in.

Instead of using a clip, you can also rubberband some nori to a rock and drop it on the bottom of the tank. If they have never done it before, eating off a clip is not natural. By putting it on the rock you are simulating the way they eat in the ocean.

Yes, blanching means to partially cook. It can also be called parboiling. If you would normally steam broccoli for 10 minutes for you to eat, only steam for 3 minutes. RedGambit is right, it will partially soften it for them to eat.

Does the amount of white spots on him determine how good/bad he is? cause last night he had about 25 or 30 I'd say and today hes got much less, about 10 or so
