pump question

    captbill, the danner pondmaster is AFAIK the exact same pump as the danner Mag drive (like mag 5, 7, 9) pumps. They will work just fine, but use a lot more watts, and make more heat than other brands of pumps.

    I just switched from a mag9 to a quiet one 3000. My mag 9 went south after like 3 years.

    Where in WI are you?

    I am a captain as well...of my Ski Nautique ;), on inland lakes, not even Lake Michigan.

    that's true. Pondmaster 700 is a Mag7, for example.

    im in madison lol ya i was wonfering about the pump because it said danner in add and on box it doesent.... so im glad its not a no no pump, kinda would be a pain to return somthing i bought on ebay.... so ya "horkn" hows the boatin there ive been to random lake in that area got in trouble with the cops cause my tires spun on truck while pullin boat out of that tiny pond....that boat was a 16' cuddy carver woody i restored lol they told me that my boat belonged in lake michigan too funny they were a bunch of jokers.

    We have a few nice lakes to go on, I usually find ones that are not busy since I wakeboard and I like glass smooth water.

    So you got a word about having the tires spin on the tow vehicle while pulling the boat out? wow. Was it a gravel launch? Never been boating on A random lake, even though it is close to me.

    Those are probably the same people that would yell at me for "powerloading" my nautique. Never mind that almost NO tournament ski/ wakeboard boat has a winch and you HAVE to power load.

    this is the boat to big for random lake, i know turn out the lights lol the last coat of clear was still tacky in that pic on lake wisconsin. this boat was never going to the big lake. it since has been sold for a boat with less maintenance...yah rite lol boat stands for break out another thousand!!!!

    Ahh, lake wisconsin, I used to go there nearly every weekend.

    I will posta pic, but I can pretty much guarantee you saw me there if you went any weeknd until about 6 years back.

    just installed it externaly and seem to work fine..quiet good and strong no issues thanx for all the input!
