pump question

    hey i bought this and in package it doesent say fresh or salt water but in the ebay ad is says fresh or saltwater use just hopin i didnt screw up and buy the wrong pump....i took apart and its an impellar and i dont see any coper or any bad stuff but just want to knhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=220407008848ow if i can use it?

    Do you have a pic and or brand name?More than likely it's fine.
    A little off topic but are you really a capt. If so do you work a schedule.Just wondering as i am gone alot with my schedule and it can be frustrating in this hobby.

    yes and no......i am the capt. by my own hand skipper of the sink or swim. shes a lady belive it or not! but i live in wis. and inland lakes dont count i think. although i do work 12 to 14 hours a day installing charter cable and im darn good at it too! and i havent sunk her yet!!!!!!!

    I hear you,Inland lakes count too waters water huh.Im getting off tomorrow the wife said i have a few boxes of new goodies for my tank at home.Cant wait some new ati's etc.

    thanks lol wasent thinking......the pump doesent seem to have any bad aspects, just read alot on how pond pumps contain coper and bad things evolve....what do u think
