It's a mag drive 1200 and I'm in the process of pumping water into the tank and when I plug it in it vibrates and nothing pumps. I unhooked the hose and its pump at a extremely slow rate. I took it apart and everything's fine. What do I do my fishs are at like 73 I gotta get them in the tank. HELP PLEASE

Sounds like the impeller is broken in half. It can be replaced for fairly cheap.

I've had my magdrive1200 for 4 years now and have only had the impeller break once. And that's because it ran dry overnight( don't ask) lol

Oh and it's nice that the impeller is replaceable. Most pumps when they go, they go. That's it.

Did you notice a broken impeller when you took it apart?

Did you have flooded suction or were you trying to lift the water with the suction of the pump?

If not a broken impeller, sounds to me like you didn't have it primed and your pump was vapor locked.

The pump was under the water and propeller wasn't broken. Everything's okay now, I had to get another mag drive 12 because the store didn't have any eheims and I was short on time.
