I am looking into getting the brs single phos reactor and I was wondering what pump I should use to run it. Can I get away with using a maxi jet 900? Its only going to need to pump about a foot (from sump to inside wall of stand).

I'm guessing that will work, Matt has a thread that he states he's gravity feeding his in. My BRS duel GFO/Carbon reactor came with a maxijet 1200 and does great.

I use the Maxijet 1200 as well, and it works well. It needs to be dialed down with a ball valve, just like any other pump would be.
