ok guys after the recent loss of my blue spot ray "raylene" i have been considering a replacement for my tank as it looks very bare now. so what i have been considering is a saddled puffer and a snowflake eel, im just curious how the pussfer will go with the coralimorphs that cover most of my rockwork. and will the eel eat the current inhabitants (3x black clowns, yellow tang, blue tang, and a YT blue damsel)

puffers and box fish arent reef safe i dont think. but im no expert. the eel should be fine, i had a snowflake eel wth my two clowns for two months, it got 6-9 inches long before i returned it.

When I had a larger reef tank my big pink tail trigger was by far the most active and personable fish I have ever had. if your tank looks empty, I would look around for one thats around 6" or so, you wont be disappointed.

Some will say they are not reef safe, but I had one with cleaner, peppermint, and coral banded shrimps along with clowns, small wrasses and a neon goby and mine never bothered any of them.

i will definately have a look, as i dont have any inverts in the tank, other then snails im not so much worried about that just the coralimorphs and the other fish, and thats what is making it difficult as almost all off the really interesting things will eat either my coral or my fish
