    ive heard alot of people say the same thing about nw skimmers, they just go crazy once in awhile and overflow. reef octopus are known for being unstable long term, they even talk about it in their troubleshooting area on the website. i think coralife had some issues with a bunch of skimmers also. they have a mind of their own i guess??

    Have you taken water samples during this skimmer issue? This might shows a possible cause.

    I did not take samples seems to have gone back to normal. Sg is cool .25-.26. I do 10% every two weeks wc
