I'm making my own recurculating protein skimer, and kinda a stupid question but can u turn a sedra pump upside down to make it attach to the side of the skimmers body, so like the bubble come out at about the middle of the body, and the water being drawn in is at the base?
    Thanks

If you mean can you take a sedra pump and angle it 90degrees forward, and make it attach to the skimmer body, then yes. you will however need to make the proper ports so the sedra will sit snugly while running.
