A clergyman and a taxi driver die at the same time in an accident.

When they regain their senses, they are both at St. Peter's desk outside
    the Pearly Gates.

"Gentlemen," St. Peter says, "Here in heaven our operations are now
based solely on profit responsibility, added value, and measurable
    productivity."

Pointing to the taxi driver, he continued "Welcome to heaven!". The news
that he had for the clergyman was less pleasant.

"I'm afraid, reverend, that you have been consigned to the place down
    below," St. Peter said.

"This is outrageous," replied the reverend. "I have dutifully conducted
church services for more than thirty years. My church was packed with
    worshippers every Sunday."

"Indeed it was," said St. Peter, "but everybody in your church slept
through your sermons. On the other hand, everybody that entered his
taxi and observed his driving style prayed fervently."
