problem with clownfish pair

    Hi guys i have two clownfish and a yellow tang. My clownfish got along when i first got them they got along. but now my orange nemo oceallious clown is attacking my black clown fish. what do i do . he does even let the black clownfish eat or swim around

    You can try a few things.

    1. Move some of the scape around.
    2. Move the offending clownfish to either a breeder basket or the sump for a day or two.

    If the clownfish is still eating, does not have tattered fins and is not breathing at the surface I would be tempted to let them work it out. With that said, for some reason a female will reject the smaller male and no intervention can change that. He may not be displaying enough submission or she may sense he is not ideal to spawn with.
