Powerhead Placement

    so i shut it off for now XD mainly because i need sand and food to fall; i gots my hermit there to take care of that

    so I'm getting really annoyed because i have the powerhead at the highest point in my tank, turn it on, and sand and detritus just comes up and starst floating around. :angry: already a bit peeved about it.

    Well i didnt want to revive this thread but the powerhead is lifting up debris and i just aimed it toward the other side of the tank. Anything I can do about it?

    Are you aiming the pump across the length or the width of the tank? Make sure you aim it across the length and have it aimed toward the surface so it barely breaks the surface.

    Try the way I have mine setup. You may or may not like it. Far right in the back pointed towards the opposite end pointed slightly up.
