Power filter for coral/fish only saltwater tank

    I was thinking about getting a biowheel hang on filter for a 55 gal saltwater fish only or coral tank. Is that a good idea?

    Nah, they are ok filters, but the biowheel is useless and they fall apart after a bit. I replaced mine with a Aquaclear and love it!
    If it is a FO tank I would recommend a Reef Octo BH100 (great product) or other HOB skimmer instead of a HOB filter.

    If you have live rock, the bio-wheel is just something more to maintain.
