    Their light output to power consumption ratio is crap compared to T5, MH or LED.

    Don't waste your money on PC's, it's like buying a VCR.

    My next fixture is going to be LED. Just waiting for the price to drop some more.

    I have a PC on my older 65 gallon tank...would not buy another one. It gets the job done and all..but the bulbs don't last long, and they are freaking expensive to replace compared to t-5's. I have T-5's on my 120, and love them...I am breaking my 65 down (moving stuff to a different tank) in the fall...and will be getting rid of the PC's then.

    they'll work, but only a few places online you can find good uvl bulbs. one place is reefgeek.com.. T5H0 is the wiser choice and at least get a nova extreme slr brand or better.

    I have found there are 2 main things you don't want to skimp on is lights and skimmers. Get a good fixture it will save you many headaches in the long run.

    might as well get the MHs thy have. you only need one 250w and its 99 dollars.

    I have zoas in my tank and with my tank being so tiny a with so much watt i heard that the zoas will burn and die
