I bought this potters angel a few days ago and it was doing fine the first day and the second day was hiding a bit but nothing suspicious and was eating cyclops after lights out but yesterday i noticed some nipped fins and one of his eyes cloudy, no other body defects or signs of parasites. Its changed its hide out spot 3 times in 3 days and this mornin when lights came on was swimming around a but but not quite as active and quick as it was and both eyes were cloudy. I tried to feed it rods but it wont eat, its breathing is not shallow and its not laying on its side or anything, I soak my food in selcon and was hoping he would eat the rods but didnt. I think maybe it eats only when theres not too much going on because its a shy fish and hides when theres too much activity. All I can do now is soak some cyclops in selcon after lights out and hope it eats and makes it without gettin any worse as my other fish seem to bother it a bit more in its slightly weakened state. I don't have a quarantine tank either. Any suggestions on what else I can do?

Sounds like someones being aggressive and it probably accidentally ran into a rock. Since you don't have a QT tank, just continue what you're doing and make sure it's eating after lights out.

The only thing I would add is to try some garlic in the food to stimulate its appetite a little more.

Tried the garlic, gonna try the night feeding soaked in garlic+selcon also or maybe some live brine the same way. I did notice it trying to pick at some things but very very very little. I hope it makes it, hes such a beautiful potters, not the average color. I introduced it and a CB that were in another tank together for a couple years and the CB is doing excellent, all over the tank, awesome appetite while the potters is suffering :(
