Post pics of your open top tank with Hanging Metal halide

mine is a Current Sundial HQI. it has the ballast, timers and even actinics all in the fixture. one cord was the basic selling point for me if it was going to be a hanging system. the only complaint i have about it is that the actinics are PC and not T5.

 

yeah.....the Tek light has two thick heavy cords BUT i bought that wiremold stuff from Home Depot to conceal and help stabilize my cords and i must say - you really do not notice the cords now at all. That might be another selling point for our comrade sollie here regardless of it being a ceiling or shelf suspended fixture.
