    are the white bumps around the perimeter of the polyps normal?

    anyone? does it still have tentacles on the white spots? if it don't there is a good chance of something nipping at it. are the spots around the edge where the tentacles are? can't really tell what you are talking about, they are open, look fine to me

    yes they are open look healthy and arent missing any tentacles that i can tell. there are white spots between the tentacles and a few look like they are swollen or something. they do look healthy tho and i was just making sure nothing was wrong with them.

    A couple polyps of my purple deaths have the same thing. Just never really though about it until now...

    it seems to be some reaction to maybe temperature, or change of water quality. I don't mean that your parameters are wrong, just a change in them that cause the reaction, perhaps; fungus of some kind. are any other tank mates getting anything like it or similar to it? are this things like blisters?

    it might be the change in the lighting cause them to blister. how much light are they under? and how long have you had them? here is a link that you might find further help.
