I have had these polyps for about 1.5 weeks and yesterday they were loving life, today? not so much. This picture is terrible but hopefully you get the idea. My water is perfect last time I checked so I don't know what's going on. Any ideas?

What kind of polyps are they? From the pic they could be aiptasia, xenia, anthelia, cloves, yellow polyps, etc. Can you put up more details? "Perfect" water doesn't help much, actual numbers do. Have you done anything different in the last week or so? When was the last water change?

I am not sure what type of polyps they are yet. I don't have actual numbers yet but I plan on going to the LFS to get them. My last PWC was last week. They actually opened up fully as the day went on...do polyps normally take a little bit to open completely? Thank Will.

You should look into getting your own test kits. Some times pet stores tell you your water is fine without actually telling you what your water is.

They look like green star polyps. Sometimes they can close up for weeks with no real reason, than pop back up like nothing happened.

+1 on GSP, it is probably the lighting, the green part is their food source that is created photosynthetically.

Thanks all. I plan on getting my own test kit once I get some extra cash. They really aren't a bright green, if they are green polyps will they continue to get more green as the age?

depending on the strain and health, they could become very bright. Or they may be at their brightest peak. You never really know until you give them more light.

That is Anthelia. I get the little polyps roaming my tank all the time. They will grow and multiply VERY rapidly. Mine go through stages of opening and closing based on a number of things. My Foxface loves "hiding" in them and they will close up after it leaves the colony. When I do a water change, they will also close up a bit, but open shortly after. My Korelia gave out and in the process of waiting to go get another, they closed up...they LOVE flow and will not open well without it. Plan on keeping up with a trimming schedule...I have to trim and discard or give away once a month. They add a realy cool look to the tank when they grow into a good sized colony.
